Khila was born and brought up in Sotang, Solukhumbu - the heart of the Himalayas. The beautiful snow-capped mountains have been part of his life from a very early age, which ultimately shaped his passion for guiding in the Himalayas. Khila began his journey as a porter, learned the craft along the way and now boasts over a decade of experience as a trekking guide. He has successfully led several trekking groups to the Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Mustang, Dolpo, Kanchenjunga and Manaslu regions. From sharing valuable info about the mountains, history and local culture to knowing the specific needs of each client, Khila excels at making your trip a memorable adventure.
