What Our Clients Say About Marvel Adventure
I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek solo with Marvel Adventure, guided by the incredible duo, Phinjo and Dhana, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Trekking in August, during the quieter season, offered a unique and intimate experience, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the breathtaking landscapes and rich culture of the region. From the very beginning, Phinjo and Dhana provided unwavering support and encouragement, making me feel safe and at ease throughout the journey. Don't underestimate the Chola Pass or Gokyo Ri climbs_but it's all so worth it at the top! Their extensive knowledge of the trails, local culture, and the environment enriched my trek, and their passion for the mountains was truly infectious.Every moment of this physical challenge was exhilarating, from the stunning views of towering peaks to the serene beauty of the valleys. Phinjo and Dhana ensured that I was well-prepared and comfortable, taking care of every detail, which allowed me to focus on enjoying the experience. You will see hardy, resilient and kind people all the way, who live with, through and at times in spite of the harsh conditions. Marvel Adventure exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're considering an adventure in the Himalayas, I wholeheartedly recommend booking with them. Nir takes care of every detail before you even set foot in this wonderful country and you have the most comfortable R&R when you he sets you up in Lo Mustang hotel. Don't hesitate to ask for a bespoke trip, starting lower, going through a different route...they are so flexible. Thank you, Phinjo and Dhana, for an unforgettable adventure! I can't wait to return for more explorations with Marvel Adventure!
I did a solo panorama 8 days trip with Marvel Adventure this past May. The trip was well organized and Nir was very helpful when it comes to preplanning itinerary and answered all the questions I had before the start of the trip. The team met with me the day before to go over the list of things to prepare and also helped me to rent any gear that I missed to bring, which it was super helpful! My guide, Dibash, was very knowledgeable and quick to adapt to my needs during our treks. I wanted to lengthen one of my descending days so the second leg of the trip won't be so tiring and he was able to make that happen. We also had an flight incident of almost not making back to Kathmandu due to the weather conditions in Lukla and Dibash was able to make sure we got on the first flight once the weather cleared up. It's always nice to know when the agency you worked with are experienced and have solutions when the problem arise. I recommend booking with them if you are looking to do private group, family trip, or solo trip. They will definitely take care of you.
I went on the EBC trek via Gokyo Lakes and Chola Pass - which effectively combines three treks in the area, and truly felt like the best way to discover the Himalayas. Gokyo Lakes were gorgeous (the first three turquoise, and the last two more glacial - I extended the itinerary by one day to see the fifth lake and Cho Oyu - which was worth it). Chola pass (from the western side) was a fun climb and the subsequent walk on the glacier an awesome treat. That part of the trek was not too busy. Then we went to EBC and kalapatthar to enjoy beautiful view of Everest and Himalayan peaks.Acclimatation was well paced (and they do measure your oxygen level every day for safety).Nir - owner of Marvel adventures and experienced guide himself - was super helpful and responsive all along. He answered all questions before the trip, provided helpful advice on packing, welcomed me at the airport, and we even had a great debrief over beer when i returned. He proactively changed the return flight to another flight+jeep when he (rightfully) anticipated my initial flight would be canceled - so I could easily catch my flight back home.Program was clear every day - and we did some adjustments based on my (fast) pace so I could stay one night in beautiful upper pyangboche and be on time to see the finish line of the marathon.Food was great and plentiful (loved the daily ginger teas!) and accommodation in the tea houses was way better than i expected (i didn’t need a sleeping bag). Super happy with this trip, and I will definitely go to Nepal again.
We had a fantastic time trecking to Everest Base Camp with Marvel Tours. Communication was clear and the itinerary was carefully designed to meet our requirements. Our guide, Phinjo, was incredible. His knowledge of the Khumbu valley was impeccable and he went above and beyond to ensure we were safe, comfortable and happy throughout the whole treck. His connections in the valley meant we always had the best place to stay, and he even managed to get us onto an early flight out from Lukla (these are like gold dust!). This was truly a once in a lifetime experience made particularly special by Phinjo’s expertise, good humour and relentlessly positive attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend Marvel.
Our Everest base camp trek via Gokyo was organised expertly by Marvel Adventure. From the very beginning the communication was clear and Marvel answered questions extremely quickly putting our minds at ease. Our guide for the trek was incredible. Throughout the 2 weeks he consistently demonstrated complete professionalism in the mountains, prioritising our safety, comfort and enjoyment. His extensive knowledge of the local area and culture really enhanced our experience. I look forward to using Marvel Adventure on my next trip to Nepal!
3 friends and I have just returned from an unforgettable Everest Base Camp trek with Marvel Adventures. From the very beginning Nir impressed with his clear communication. When our Lukla flight got cancelled due to weather he managed to secure us a last-minute helicopter ride saving the day!Our guide, Phinjo, was truly first-class. His expertise and attentiveness were unmatched, prioritising our safety while ensuring we had a fantastic time. Phinjo's connections in Gokyo and the Khumbu Valley were a huge plus - it felt like everyone knew him! Safe to say that he is easily the best guide I've had on an adventure tour, able to answer even the most niche questions about the local area with good humour and deep insight. If you're looking for a great tour agency and world class guide combo I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Just did Everest Base Camp trek with Marvel Adventure which was amazing. The organisation of the trip was seamless. Nir made my first experience in Nepal so much easier, from picking me up from the airport on arrival, to spending the next day in Kathmandu helping sort bits out for my trek. He even took me to monkey temple, a Kathmandu attraction! Now for the trek. On the trek itself Dhana was my guide. He was a kind, attentive and knowledgable guide, having grown up in the mountains. The trek was incredible with amazing views! Throughout the hikes he checked in with me, and it was quite reassuring that each night Dhana checked my blood oxygen levels with an oximeter and put my mind at ease. He also cut me up fruit each evening which was a nice treat. At the end of the trip, Nir came and met me again. I left with a smile on my face and would 100% recommend Marvel!
I began my trip in Salleri and spent 15 amazing days trekking to Everest Base Camp with a return by air in Lukla. I made this trip in November with sunny days throughout the trip. Nir listened to me and then planned my trip while I was still in Canada. I had the most relaxing, safe and fun trip possible. My guide Phinjo Sherpa and my porter Nurbu Sherpa treated me like a Queen. I am 71 years and felt fit and healthy throughout the trip. We did lots of photo shoots and always had time to enjoy the incredible beauty of the region. The food was delicious, the teahouses warm and cozy and the locals/trekkers were always smiling. A trip I will never forget. I strongly recommend Marvel Adventures for any trekking trip in the Himalayas
